It’s a wrap: All about the ePages YOU event 2022
It’s all about YOU! At this year’s 2-day “ePages YOU” event, around 100 employees from various locations met to further their education in workshops, meet merchants in person and gather new ideas and inspiration. A review.
What is the “ePages YOU”?
The annual internal event is organised for employees at ePages aka ‘ePagees”. During the event, ePagees can expect an exciting programme where they can learn new things, provide fresh input and enjoy their time as a team. This year, ePages YOU took place in September at the Office.One co-working space in Hamburg-Altona and was organised by Event Manager Marjolaine Richy-Stervinou.
Day 1: Good to be back!
After a period of no face-to-face events, the anticipation of many ePagees for a reunion in Hamburg was high. Internal networking kicked off with a joint breakfast and an icebreaker at the location in Hamburg.
The traditional opening by CEO Wilfried Beeck was all about company culture and product vision. The rest of the morning’s programme focused on five special guests: ePages merchants from MeinGriff.de, Wolltick.com, Rheuma-Welt.de and Kunstrost.de travelled from all over Germany travelled especially for the event bringing along samples of their products.
In the “Meet our merchants” interview session, the merchants shared their company stories, inspiration valuable insights on the daily work with their online shop. Seeing the role that the ePages shop solution plays in making business dreams a reality was a great highlight for the ePagees. At the ensuing merchant fair, all participants had the opportunity to exchange on a personal level and the employees had the chance to experience first-hand the products from those online shops:
At the self-designed workshops, the focus was on ideas measures for improving merchants success. ePagees discussed topics such as UX trends, support, payment, online marketing channels and product portals and developeding concepts for ePages that will make it even easier for merchants to sell successfully online. The merchants also provided interactive support through practical feedback and were able to gain additional insights into the work at ePages during the workshops. Jaqueline deZanet from Rheuma-Welt.de reports: “The workshop, the togetherness and the inspiring exchange in small teams was great. All in all, a really exciting day, such events can be quite prosaic, but the colleagues from ePages managed not to let a minute of boredom arise with their inspiring and energising mood.”
Ulrike Dievernich from MeinGriff.de adds, “For me it was a great day where I took a big step out of my comfort zone and it was worth it. I got to know ePages as a super sympathetic and very appreciative team.”

Day 2: Workshop takeaways and management Q&A
After a first successful day with many ideas and inspirations, ePagees started the second day with another icebreaker, laughing heartily and speculating about “2 truths and 1 lie” of some participating team members.
Then it was on to a presentation of the workshop results, which the workshop team participants presented to the full audience. The management team also used this day as an opportunity to answer questions from ePagees and to bring the the event to a successful conclusion.
Last but not least, the ePages YOU serves to provide everyone involved with a fresh perspective on current topics happening in ecommerce. “From my point of view, the event was a complete success and I was able to take away a lot of valuable knowledge. The exchange of information with the staff and of course with the other shop owners was very interesting for me. I immediately felt like giving my shop a new impulse,” summarises Holger Grossmann, owner of Wolltick.com.
