ePages shops already have a search functionality that customers can use to find the products they are looking for. Search is especially important for shops that have a higher number of products. When typing in a search term, we already suggest results to customers so that they can navigate to the desired product right away. This prevents them from having to browse through products that are irrelevant for them.
In the future, merchants will also be able to add search filters to their shop. This means, after a customer searches for a product, they will see filters on the left side of the page. These filters then allow customers to narrow down the search results. This is also called after search navigation.
Using the filter search function, merchants can determine by themselves which features of the products should be available as search filters. For example, these can be a price range, a specific color, or a brand.
Customise your shop with fonts
When merchants choose a design theme, these already come with pre-configured fonts that match the style of the theme. Soon, we will also offer merchants the ability to choose between many fonts to customise the look and feel of their shop. It will also be possible to change the color of text to give the merchant full control over how the content is communicated to customers.
Show your products in detail with the product image zoom
Customers want to see what they are buying. Therefore, for most kinds of products attractive images are one of the main factors to drive conversions. Your shop already enables you to upload several images and embed a video showing the product. In the future, your customers will get an even better impression of the products you offer by zooming in on product images and having a closer look at the details of the product. This will work both on desktop computers as well as on mobile devices.
Benefit from easy Google site verification
Google Search Console is a useful tool for website owners to get detailed statistics and improvement suggestions about their site, and enjoy other benefits such as better rankings in Google search results. Thanks to an integration with Google, ePages merchants will be able to complete the verification of site ownership at Google Search Console with just a few clicks in the administration area of their shop.
Track your Facebook campaigns
Over 2 billion people worldwide are active monthly on Facebook and 42% of marketers report that Facebook is critical or important to their business. Although it is very beneficial to have a business page on Facebook and to share content there, there are many other aspects to Facebook marketing such as tracking to evaluate your marketing success and measure traffic to your online shop.
In the future, we will also offer an app for merchants who use Facebook as a marketing tool for their online shop. Using the app, merchants will be able to track relevant events such as a spike in traffic in their shop and trace them back to their activities and advertisement campaigns on Facebook. This also allows retargeting: Addressing users on Facebook that already visited your shop.
