Why did we redesign the administrator area?

In the fast-paced world of the Internet, there is a continuous advancement of technologies, changes in designs, and standards. As a result, many websites no longer look up-to-date even after only several years. It became clear to us that our administration area also needed to be updated: It is five years old and was always only changed very carefully. Which is why it was time for a complete new design.

What were the goals for the redesign?

We had the following goals in mind for the redesign:

• To give the ePages administration a modern, contemporary and more friend look.
• To achieve better clarity through ample use of free spaces and larger font.
• The results from this: To offer ePages merchants an even more pleasant user experience in their day-to-day work with their eShop.

What else has changed?

With regard to the operation of your shop, there’s nothing new to get used to: The changes are purely cosmetic. Menus, tabs and formulas can still be found in their respective locations. However, there are several improvements in the administration. For example, small images of the individual products are now displayed in the product overview. This will help you define them more quickly.

When will the new changes be effective in my shop?

We released version 6.14 at the end of June. This version will then be rolled out by our providers in the months following.
